I feel silly ever having been on their side. And on some level I'm glad they went as far as they did, so I could finally see how their whole worldview is built from resentment, jealousy, hatred of the beautiful, disdain for strength.
Once I realized they hated me, even when I was 'on their side', I realized they themselves were the low, disgusting, vile people obsessed with vengeance against their betters."
