Father Of The Rails

Father Of The Rails (Click for larger or go to the gallery)
The inexplicable surrender of time and place.
The father of the rails awaits your path
holding sardonic wizardry and nifty spice racks.
All he seeks in return are his long-lost silver thimbles
..If only he could move to find them.

A modern day sphinx for the jubilant wanderer, The Father Of The Rails is a content guardian of wisdom except only when his face is stepped on by the gummed underside of a tar laden sneaker. To continue onward you must answer his riddles of purely trivial  nonsense. Sometimes he whistles a melodic serenade to ants or centipedes so they crawl into his mouth so he can eat. He has been prevalent in sightings since the age of public payphones and streetlight sneakers.
