 Courage is the likely tool needed to carry on in the event that you can actually step back and see what is going on.
But you have to survive among an absolute populace outpour of hindbrain activity. In that it is the lesser brain that is stirred up and the main drive of the majority of the populace.

this is likely terrifying to anybody who is initiated into a fraternity that is not sabatoged or that worships darkness. Near all major fraternities are however compromised. It seems to me that it is the temple of the self who is drawn away from the complicated and calloused masses who can tune in to previous teachings or teachers who are no longer with us but passed down  truths. Fraternity of course means esoteric, religious and spiritual studies sworn in truth and especially not so in superstition.
Superstition still lives in the present masses of today, but that sense of believing a higher power or alternate realm of sorts is not of the uneducated.  

Most people today "are what they ain't"
and that comes to meaning they have something to hide, in thinking, that they coat and outpour in the identity they scream from when it comes to a public persona.

I would have to say one of the most evil people or somebody who possible was not, yet happened upon making a device that turned to evil, at the wrong time in thinking ability of the population, was Steve Jobs and the entry of the smart phone/mobile phone into the world. That has destroyed any sense of learning and communication. And the vulgar live. The selfish, the manipulative, the self worshipping. The biggest display of ugliness, eagerness and carelessness I can think of as an example of tech in the history of humankind. And it was a very terrible thing to introduce that tool to the world because look at us all now.
That is a risk to say a statement of such, because there are so many nets and barricades there for people to protect the ones they are poisoned by, as they are addicted to that poison.  

There is a lot to say but it is an empty island around here.
You have to put on a mask and participate amongst the bloodthirsty and the manually de-evolving.
War is a human sacrifice feeding people into the meatgrinder.
And the modern use of tech has been handed out to people who do not know any better but who destroy beauty and poison, poison, poison and then poison yet more.
